Chasing Loafer Dreams: A Tale of Cute Shoes and Shopping Spree Fun!

Come with me to buy my first pair of Loafers!!! 

Hello~ today’s mission was to find a new pair of brown shoes that matched my new brown Tomboy Studios coat!!! 

When I set off to Vancouver’s most Popular shopping mall, Metropolis at Metrotown. I hadn’t decided on what type of shoe I wanted, that was until I stepped into The Shoe Company.

I had found some cute black shoes but I was on a mission! To find brown shoes! And that is when I found these cuties from Kelly & Katie, they were a size 6 on sale the last pair in the shop. 

Size 6 is too small for me but I was star struck~ the details, the materials and how they made my feet look.

So went to ask one of there staff if they could check the back to see if maybe they have my size or if they had any other shoes that were similar in style to these ones that they could suggest for me to try. And you know what I got in return? 

She shouted “No” and speed walk away without even looking at the shoes that I was interested in.  After that interaction I just walked out of the store with out buying anything. 

However, after 2 hours of going to all the shoes in the mall, to try and find something better, I just couldn’t stop thinking and comparing all the shoes I tried to that first pair by Kelly & Katie. So reluctantly I went back and this time that rude employee was not there and instead I spoke to a much kinder employee and they helped me look, but then we just ended up ordering my size for the brown Kelly & Katie loafers. ~ 

That is how I got my first pair of loafers!

And you know, all’s well that ends well, right.
