Last Friday, I found myself unexpectedly called into work for a late-night shift.
While it wasn’t the most glamorous gig, it did come with a pretty fantastic reward: a delicious Donair Dude dinner!
As one of our bakers was on vacation, I was drafted in to help the kitchen at our 2nd location Wicked Cafe & Bakery!🫡
Let me tell you, it was a busy night! I made a whopping 21kg of Tom & Jerry Cheesecake mix, 21kg of chocolate chip cookie dough, and 21kg of lemon Earl Grey cookie dough. Talk about a sugar rush!😆
To reward the team for all that hard work, Doh ordered in Donair Dude from Ubereats!
I opted for a large beef donair pita wrap, packed with all the good stuff: pita bread, hummus, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, pickles, donair sauce, and a spicy paprika cilantro sauce.
It was a flavor explosion in every bite!
