Dear Diary day 6.
Today’s the day! It’s my day off though 😅but I need to go to work and finish a new project. So I woke up, walked Dona and then headed to work.
My Goals today was to
– make cypress pinecone liquid
– decorate custom plant area with boiled pinecones
– give gifts to our neighbors
To make the cypress pinecone water I used baking soda, boiling and the cypress leaves and pinecones I collected yesterday.
I did 2 rounds and boiled both for 15min or so.
Afterwards I cleaned one corner of the kitchen with the c/c water. And decorated the customer area with boiled pinecones.
At the end of the day I was preparing the gifts for the customers………when…….
I made a mistake and I failed again…… I am so down ……… this also affected my supervisor……. I want to barrie my head in the sand and die, I am so down, and it feels like needles in my heart and chest….
After that, I was hounded and then still had to smile and bring gifts to our neighbors. Must always hold my feelings and do my work no matter what and I must treat every job with the same focus even small job i must treat the same as big jobs. But sometimes I find it so interesting that humans can’t see passed my face and my voice to notice I am very sad, upset or unhappy. But I guess that works both ways Because I am not very good at understanding the feeling of others.
Well today I got many good feed back from our neighbors,
some had passed us by many times and just never tried. And some just never noticed us but say they would visit us now.
So day 1 of giving gifts to our new is a success! But I am in such a down mood right now.
For today’s menu recipe close up is our Granola square.
This menu uses no flour but we all must always let our customers know we are not celiac friendly since we make everything ourselves in only the one kitchen so flour is very commonly used around so cross contamination is very possible because of how flour is.
We us Oats, dried cranberries, applesauce honey, dark chocolate, cinnamon powder, almond flour and sunflower seeds.
We mix it up and bake it in a pan at 350°F for 25min. We always make this in very large quantities and freeze them.
We prepare them by cutting one pan of Granola squares into 12 even square = (3×4). Afterwards we wrap and seal them.
It is probably one of our most healthy menus and I really like it, and I have one quite often.
