Hello hello I am back with fresh news straight from the Wicked kitchen!
So if you remember from one of my previous posts, I talked about our House Marinara sauce and how we make this delightful Leek Oil to enhance the sauces flavor?
Well we were thinking, what can we do with all this extra delicious left over oil boiled leeks??? Had a lot remaining it was decided we would try to make them into Scones!!!!
The inspiration comes all the way from the other side of Canada. From Montreal this inspiration has made its way all the way to Vancouvers!
I had never tried leek scones but as a Vancouver Canadian Girl 😍I loved it
The Cheddar Leek Scones is made with butter scone dough and is hand rolled with cheddar cheese, herbs and leeks all inside.
Compared with our cheddar spinach scone, I much prefer our new Cheddar Leek Scones!!!!!!
It has such nice flavor and is a bit more moist on the insides compared to the spinach Scones. 😋
